Resilient Subak, Managed Data: Penyaringan Village Realizes Food Security and Sovereignty

Through the Cantik Penyaringan Village Program 2025, BPS Jembrana Regency conducts guidance under the theme “Resilient Subak, Managed Data: Penyaringan Village Realizes Food Security and Sovereignty.” Various development activities are carried out together with Statistical Agents and the Penyaringan Village community to comprehensively capture the actual conditions of farmers and subak land, as well as create an automated digital map of the rice fields.

This activity is a real and synergistic collaboration between the Village Government, BPS, Jembrana Regency Government, Hitotsubashi University (Japan), and the University of Indonesia.
This collaboration combines the wisdom of subak tradition with technological and research support to strengthen the future of food security.
