Abstract

In February 2019, the number of international air transport aircraft departing from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport was recorded at 2,779 flights. This figure was recorded to decline compared to the condition of the previous month (m to m) which reached 3,073 aviation units, or decreased by -9.57 percent. The same condition occurred in the departure of the number of passengers on international flights which recorded a decline of -7.67 percent (m to m), ie from 541,882 people in January 2019 it fell to 500,301 people in February 2019. Departure of baggage and international air freight items also decreased when compared to the previous month (m to m) of -16.58 percent, which is from 11.00 million tons to 9.18 million tons.

 

The departure of domestic air transport aircraft from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in February 2019 was recorded to reach 2,984 flight units, down -11.14 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 3,358 flight units. The deepest decline was recorded in Ujung Pandang's domestic air transport flights which reached -21.19 percent. While the number of aircraft departures for Yogyakarta and Tambolaka destinations remains the same.

 

The number of sea transportation departing from a number of ports in the Province of Bali in February 2019 was recorded at 2,747 units of ships. When compared with January 2019 (m to m), an increase in the number of ships departing reached 8.02 percent. The number of sea transport passengers departing through several ports in the Province of Bali in February 2019 was recorded at 167,553 people. This number shows a decrease of -13.90 percent compared to the previous month's condition (m to m) which was recorded at 194,606 people.
