Development of Air Transportation and the Sea of Bali Province April 2019

In April 2019, the number of international air transport aircraft who departed from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport was recorded as reaching 2,947 flight units. This figure is recorded to have increased compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 2,888 flight unit, or increased by 2.04 percent. The same condition occurred on the departure of the number of international flight passengers which recorded an increase of 4.78 percent (m to m), which was from 513,958 people in March 2019 rose to 538,531 people in April 2019. While the departure of the amount of baggage and air freight goods international decline compared to the previous month (m to m) of -5.36 percent, which is from 11.17 million tons to 10.57 million tons.

 

Departure of domestic air transport aircraft from Airport I Gusti Ngurah Rai in April 2019 was recorded at 3,327 units flight, or up 3.45 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 3,216 flight units. From ten destination areas the main domestic departure, the highest percentage increase was recorded on the flight destination for domestic air transport in Yogyakarta which is reached 13.10 percent. Whereas the number of aircraft departures for the destination of Jakarta / Halim Perdana Kusuma and Solo has decreased respectively as deep as -13.39 percent and -7.78 percent.

 

The number of sea transportation departing from a number of ports in The Province of Bali in April 2019 was recorded at 4,515 ships. When compared with March 2019 (m to m), a decline occurs the departure of the number of vessels reached -7.86 percent the previous month reaching 4,900 units. The number of departing sea transportation passengers through several ports in Bali Province in April 2019 recorded as many as 261,823 people. This number shows a decrease of -4.30 percent compared to the previous month's condition (m to m) recorded at 273,578 people.
