Development of Bali Province Tourism in May 2019

The number of foreign tourists to the Province of Bali in May 2019 increased by 1.82 percent compared to the record in April 2019 (m to m). When compared with May 2018 (y on y), the number of foreign tourists to Bali decreased as much as -8.08 percent.

 

According to nationality, foreign tourists who recorded the most came to Bali in May 2019, namely tourists with Australian nationality (20.30 percent), China (19.24 percent), India (7.95 percent), United States (5.11 percent). ), and the United Kingdom (4.79 percent).

 

The Star Hotel Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) in May 2019 was recorded at 51.56 percent, down -8.77 points compared to the previous month's TPK (m to m) which reached 60.33 percent. When compared to May 2018 (y on y) which reached 67.55 percent, room occupancy rates in May 2019, recorded a decline of -15.99 points.

 

The average length of stay of guests in star hotels in Bali in May 2019 was recorded at 2.90 days, up 0.13 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in April 2019 (m to m) which reached 2.77 days. When compared with May 2018 (y on y) which reached 2.74 days, the average length of stay in May 2019 increased as high as 0.16 points.
