Development of Bali Province Air and Sea Transportation June 2019

In June 2019, the number of international air transport planes departing from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport reached 3,014 flights. This number was recorded to have decreased compared to the condition of the previous month (m to m) which reached 3,057 flights, or decreased as deep as -1.41 percent. In contrast to the conditions of departure of the number of passengers on international flights which were recorded to increase as high as 1.34 percent (m to m), namely from 573,692 people in May 2019 it rose to 581,359 people in June 2019. For departures the number of baggage and international air freight goods decreased compared to the previous month (m to m) as deep as -9.75 percent, which was from 10.97 million tons to 9.9 million tons.

 

The departure of domestic air transport aircraft from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in June 2019 was recorded at 3,572 flight units, or increased as high as 21.04 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 2,951 flight units. Of the ten main destinations for domestic departures, the highest percentage increase was recorded for domestic air transport flights to Surabaya which reached 28.10 percent. When compared with June 2018 (y o y), the number of domestic air transport aircraft departures decreased as deep as -3.90 percent.

 

The number of sea transportation departing from a number of ports in the Province of Bali in June 2019 was recorded at 5,028 units of ships. When compared with May 2019 (m to m), there was a decline in the number of ships going down as deep as -42.11 percent from the previous month which was recorded at 8,685 units. The number of sea transport passengers departing through several ports in Bali Province in June 2019 was 326,777 people. This number shows an increase as high as 3.36 percent compared to the previous month's condition (m to m) which was recorded at 316,159 people.
