Bali Province Tourism Development August 2019

The arrival of foreign tourists (tourists) to the Province of Bali in August 2019 was recorded as many as 616,706 visits, with foreign tourists coming through the airport as many as 615,027 visits, and those through the seaport as many as 1,679 visits.

 

The number of foreign tourists to Bali Province in August 2019 rose as high as 2.02 percent compared to the record in July 2019 (m to m). When compared with August 2018 (y on y), the number of tourists to Bali recorded an increase as high as 7.48 percent.

 

By nationality, the most recorded tourists came to Bali in August 2019, namely tourists with Australian nationality (19.22 percent), China (17.68 percent), France (5.83 percent), Japan (5.43 percent) , and United Kingdom (5.07 percent).

 

Room occupancy rate (TPK) of starred hotels in August 2019 was recorded at 67.10 percent, up 5.39 points compared to the previous month's TPK (m to m) which reached 61.71 percent. When compared to August 2018 (y on y) which reached 73.83 percent, the room occupancy rate in August 2019, was recorded to decrease as deep as -6.73 points. The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star hotels in Bali in August 2019 was recorded at 2.83 days, up 0.17 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in July 2019 (m to m) which reached 2, 66 days. When compared to August 2018 (y on y) which reached 2.75 days, the average length of stay in August 2019 rose as high as 0.08 points.
