Abstract

Foreign tourists (tourists) who came directly to the Province of Bali in January 2020 were recorded as many as 528,883 visits, with foreign tourists coming through I Gusti Ngurah Rai airport as many as 526,823 visits and who were through the sea port as many as 2,060 visits.

 

The number of foreign tourists to Bali Province in January 2020 fell as deep as -4.26 percent compared with the record in December 2019 (m to m). When compared to January 2019 (y on y), the number of foreign tourists to Bali was recorded to increase as high as 16.09 percent.

 

Tourists with Chinese nationality (21.09 percent), Australia (19.49 percent), India (5.63 percent), Russia (4.82 percent), and South Korea (4.45 percent) are the top five foreign tourists recorded most come directly to Bali in January 2020.

 

Room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels in January 2020 was 59.29 percent, down -3.26 points compared to the previous month's TPK (m to m) which was recorded at 62.55 percent. When compared to January 2019 (y on y) which reached 53.27 percent, the room occupancy rate in January 2020, recorded as high as 6.02 points.

 

The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star hotels in Bali in January 2020 was recorded at 2.82 days, up 0.07 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in December 2019 (m to m) recorded during 2.75 days. When compared to January 2019 (y on y) recorded for 3.73 days, the average length of stay in January 2020 fell as deep as -0.91 points.
