Abstract

Foreign tourists (tourists) who came directly to the Province of Bali in March 2020 were recorded as many as 156,876 visits, with tourists coming through I Gusti Ngurah Rai airport as many as 155,851 visits and those through the seaport as many as 1,025 visits.

 

The number of tourists to Bali Province in March 2020 fell as deep as -56.89 percent compared with the February 2020 record (m to m). When compared to March 2019 (y on y), the number of foreign tourists to Bali was recorded to fall as deep as -65.11 percent.

 

Tourists with Australian nationality (23.83 percent), Russia (7.07 percent), United Kingdom (6.77 percent), Japan (5.38 percent), and the United States (5.24 percent) are the top five visiting tourists to Bali in March 2020.

 

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in March 2020 was recorded at 25.41 percent, down as deep as -20.57 points compared to the TPK of the previous month (m to m) which was recorded at 45.98 percent. When compared to March 2019 (y on y) which reached 55.43 percent, the room occupancy rate in March 2020, was recorded down as deep as -30.02 points.

 

The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at five-star hotels in Bali in March 2020 was recorded at 2.80 days, down -0.02 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in February 2020 (m to m) recorded during 2.82 days. When compared to March 2019 (y on y) recorded for 2.90 days, the average length of stay in March 2020 fell as deep as -0.10 points.
