Abstract

Foreign tourists (tourists) who came directly to the Province of Bali in April 2020 were recorded as many as 327 visits. Those who came through I Gusti Ngurah Rai airport were 273 visits and those who came through the seaport were 54 visits.

 

The number of foreign tourists to Bali Province in April 2020 fell as deep as -99.79 percent compared to the March 2020 record (m to m). When compared with April 2019 (y on y), the number of foreign tourists to Bali was recorded down as deep as -99.93 percent.

 

Tourists with Indonesian nationality (16.21 percent), the Philippines (16.21 percent), China (12.23 percent), India (10.40 percent), and Russia (8.56 percent) were the top five foreign tourists who recorded visiting to Bali in April 2020.

 

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in April 2020 was recorded at 3.22 percent, down as deep as -22.19 points compared to the TPK of the previous month (m to m) which was recorded at 25.41 percent. When compared to April 2019 (y on y) which reached 60.33 percent, the room occupancy rate in April 2020, was recorded down as deep as -57.11 points.

 

The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star hotels in Bali in April 2020 was recorded at 2.49 days, down - 0.31 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in March 2020 (m to m) recorded during 2.80 days. When compared to April 2019 (y on y) recorded for 2.77 days, the average length of stay in April 2020 fell as deep as -0.28 points.
