Abstract
EXPORT
April 2020, the export value of Bali Province's goods abroad was recorded at US $ 26,350,478, down as deep as -40.33 percent when compared with exports in March 2020 (mtm) which was recorded at US $ 44,160,861, and reached the most low in the last four years (2017-2020). On a year-to-year basis (compared to April 2019), Bali's exports in April 2020 were also recorded as deep as -48.92 percent. Cumulatively (January-April 2020) Bali exports were recorded to fall as deep as -19.13 percent compared to the January-April 2019 period.
Exports of goods to Australia in April 2020 recorded the deepest decline (-66.76 percent), which was dominated by the decline in exports of non-knit apparel products (HS 62). In terms of commodities, the deepest decline was recorded in exports of non-knit apparel products (HS 62), which was as deep as -62.34 percent (m-t-m).
IMPORT
The value of imported Balinese goods from abroad in April 2020 was recorded at US $ 5,429,030, down as deep as -59.67 percent compared to March 2020 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US $ 13,461,649. When compared to April 2019 (y-o-y), Bali's imports in April 2020 also recorded a deeper decline, which was as deep as -72.87 percent.
Month-to-month imports of goods fell the deepest (-74.45 percent), mainly due to falling imports of electrical machinery and equipment (HS 85) and leather goods (HS 42). In terms of commodities, imports of leather goods (HS 42) recorded the deepest decline (83.88 percent).
