Abstract

EXPORT

 

In January 2021, the export value of Bali Province goods abroad was recorded to have decreased by 15.99 percent (mtm), from US $ 41,996,560 in December 2020 to US $ 35,279,255 in January 2021. When compared to January 2020 (yoy), Bali's export value in January 2021 was recorded to have decreased by 24.29 percent.

 

Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in January 2021, the value of exports to China was recorded to have increased month to month, namely as high as 70.95 percent. This increase was mainly due to increased exports of fish and shrimp products (HS 03).

 

IMPORT

 

In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in January 2020 also showed a decline. The value of imported goods from Bali Province from abroad in January 2021 was recorded at US $ 4,872,950, down 1.85 percent compared to December 2020 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US $ 4,964,773. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of Bali Province in January 2021 was recorded to have decreased by 78.95 percent.

 

Of the top 5 countries of origin for imports in January 2021, the import value from Taiwan was recorded to have increased by hundreds of percent (138.12 percent) month to month, which was mainly due to the increase in imports of various chemical products (HS 38).
