Export and Import Development of Bali Province June 2021

EXPORT

 

In June 2021, the value of Bali Province goods exports to foreign countries was recorded to have increased by 2.58 percent (mtm), from US$ 38,188,098 in May 2021 to US$ 39,173,657 in June 2021. When compared to June 2020 (yoy), Bali's export value in June 2021 also recorded an increase of 21.45 percent.

 

Of the top 5 export destinations for Bali in June 2021, the value of exports to the UK recorded the highest increase month-to-month, up to 56.96 percent. This increase was mainly due to an increase in exports of knitted goods (HS 61), wood products, wood products (HS 44), and jewelry/gem products (HS 71).

 

The cumulative export value in the January-June 2021 period was recorded at US$ 244,380,813, up 8.13 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.

 

IMPORT

 

In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in June 2021 also showed an increase. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in June 2021 was recorded at US$ 2,509,323, up 4.20 percent compared to May 2021 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 2,408,285. On a year on year basis, the import value of Bali Province in June 2021 was recorded to have decreased by 17.41 percent.

 

Of the top 5 import origin countries in June 2021, the value of imports from Singapore recorded the highest increase of up to hundreds of percent, namely 222.80 percent month to month, which was mainly due to the increase in imports of machinery and electrical equipment (HS 85).

 

Cumulatively, the import value in the January-June 2021 period was recorded at US$ 21,853,331, down 63.24 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
