Bali Province Tourism Development December 2023

There were 481,646 foreign tourists who came directly to Bali Province in December 2023, an increase of 19.47 percent compared to the previous month when there were 403,154 visits. Tourists from Australia dominate foreign tourist arrivals to Bali in December 2023 with a share of 25.70 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in December 2023 was recorded at 62.19 percent, an increase of 7.30 points compared to November 2023 which was recorded at 54.89 percent. When compared with December 2022 (y-o-y) which reached 53.75 percent, the room occupancy rate in December 2023 was recorded to have increased by 8.44 points. Meanwhile, the ROR for non-star hotels was recorded at 37.47 percent, an increase of 3.27 points compared to November 2023 which was recorded at 34.20 percent.

The average length of stay for foreign and domestic guests at star hotels in Bali in December 2023 was recorded at 2.49 days, an increase of 0.01 points compared to the achievement in November 2023 (m-t-m) which was recorded at 2.48 days. When compared with the achievement in December 2022 (y-o-y) which was recorded at 2.47 days, the average length of stay in December 2023 increased by 0.02 points. Meanwhile, for non-star hotels, the average length of stay in December 2023 was recorded at 2.14 days, down 0.16 points compared to the average length of stay in November 2023 which was recorded at 2.30 days.
