Abstract

EXPORT

In January 2024, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad was recorded to increase by 38.63 percent month to month (m-t-m), from US$ 47,426,169 in December 2023 to US$ 65,744,692 in January 2024. When compared with January 2023 year on year (y-o-y), Bali's export value in January 2024 was recorded to have increased by 56.72 percent.

Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in January 2024, the value of exports to Ireland was recorded to have increased by 42,772.67 percent (m-t-m). This increase was mainly due to the increase in exports of machinery products and mechanical equipment and their parts (HS 84).

IMPORT

In line with exports, Bali Province's import performance in January 2024 showed an increase. The value of Bali Province imports of goods from abroad in January 2024 was recorded at US$ 10,805,329, an increase of 12.07 percent compared to December 2023 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 9,641,172. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of Bali Province in January 2024 was recorded to have increased by 34.49 percent.

Of the top 5 countries of import origin in January 2024, the value of imports from India recorded the highest increase month to month, namely 319.77 percent, which was mainly due to the increase in imports of machinery and mechanical equipment products and their parts (HS 84).
