EXPORTS
In October 2024, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad was recorded to have decreased by 2.40 percent month to month (m-to-m), from US$ 50,555,443 in September 2024 to US$ 49,339,746 in October 2024. When compared to October 2023 or year on year (y-on-y), Bali's export value in October 2024 was recorded to have decreased by 9.36 percent.
Of the top 5 destination countries for Bali's exports in October 2024, the export value to Singapore was recorded to have decreased by 46.09 percent (m-to-m). This decrease was mainly due to the decrease in exports of clothing and accessories (non-knitted) (HS 62).
The cumulative export value in the January-October 2024 period was recorded at US$ 531,826,598, up 11.37 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
IMPORTS
In contrast to exports, Bali Province's import performance in October 2024 showed an increase. The value of Bali Province's imports of goods from abroad in October 2024 was recorded at US$ 11,849,285, up 39.51 percent compared to September 2024 (m-to-m) which was recorded at US$ 8,493,626. Year on year, Bali Province's import value in October 2024 was recorded to have increased by 3.16 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of origin of imports in October 2024, the import value from Thailand was recorded to have experienced the highest increase month to month, namely 75.93 percent, which was mainly due to the increase in imports of precious metals and jewelry/gems (HS 71).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-October 2024 period was recorded at US$ 132,435,451, up 29.78 percent compared to the previous year.
