Abstract

International Air Transport

 

February 2020, the number of international air transport flights fell -22.22 percent compared to January 2020 (m-t-m). This condition was followed by the number of passengers who also dropped as deep as -33.58 percent, and when compared to the condition in February 2019 (y-o-y) it dropped as deep as -14.95 percent.

 

Flights to China dropped the steepest as deep as -94.25 percent, from 452 flights in January 2020 to only 26 flights in February 2020. The top ten other major international flight destinations in February 2020 from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Hong Kong destinations recorded the most down in (-37.50 percent).

 

Domestic Air Transport

 

The number of domestic air transport flights in February 2020 was recorded down as deep as -11.46 percent compared to January 2020 (m-t-m), as well as for the number of passengers who also dropped as deep as -23.46 percent.

 

Compared to January 2020, the deepest decline in the number of domestic air transport flights was recorded at Labuhan Bajo destinations as deep as -25.30 percent. However, the deepest decline in domestic passengers was recorded at Jkt / Halim Pk destinations (-30.32 percent).

 

Room occupancy rate (TPK) of starred hotels in February 2020 was recorded at 45.98 percent, down as deep as -13.31 points compared to the previous month's TPK (m to m) which was recorded at 59.29 percent. When compared to February 2019 (y on y) which reached 56.48 percent, the room occupancy rate in February 2020, was recorded down as deep as -10.50 points.
