Export and Import Development of Bali Province June 2022

Export

In June 2022, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods to foreign countries increased by 4.55 percent (m-t-m), from US$ 47,759,366 in May 2022 to US$ 49,930,457 in June 2022. When compared to June 2021 (y-o-y), Bali's export value in June 2022 recorded an increase of 27.54 percent.

Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in June 2022, the value of exports to France recorded the highest increase on a month-to-month basis (116.07 percent). This increase was mainly due to an increase in exports of leather goods (HS 42).

The cumulative export value in the January-June 2022 period was recorded at US$ 299,422,374, up 22.56 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.

Import

In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in June 2022 also showed an increase. The value of Bali Province imports of goods from abroad in June 2022 was recorded at US$ 10,560,978, up 68.49 percent compared to May 2022 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 6,268,119. On a year on year basis, the import value of Bali Province in June 2022 was recorded to increase as high as 320.87 percent.

Of the top 5 import origin countries in June 2022, the value of imports from Hong Kong recorded the highest increase on a month-to-month basis (711.70 percent), which was mainly due to the increase in imports of precious metal and jewelry/gem products (HS 71).

Cumulatively, the import value in the January-June 2022 period was recorded at US$ 28,839,558, up 31.97 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
